The island was confiscated by that pirate Got Crabs several days in advance. Grammas' Next assisted the Crab man in bringing out all the outdoor stuff required to make it a palace for the weekend camping to occur. They even made a respectable ladies lounge area which was a big hit on the actual hash day. The camping was a lot of fun, and the weather was great. Timmy and ATC came out on Thursday and camped out, and then 5 o'clock came out on Friday just in time with more ice. Got Crabs and Grammas' Next made a kitchen and dining room and living area with a fire pit and all the comforts of home. ATC and Timmy assisted Crab and Gramma in getting the clams on Saturday and then on Sunday am 2 dogs assisted Crabby in getting the oysters. 5 o'clock provided the hot sauce and crackers.

Finally Sunday arrived and the paddle hash began at 11am. Everyone came and got their boats wet, 5 o'clock, For 5 cents and Waaay stayed behind for the boat/autohashers. to bring out more ice and coolers. All the paddlers followed Nunya and Dickler round and round where nobody knows and finally arrived at the camp. Got Crabs got the oysters and clams going as soon as the paddlers began to arrived and we all mowed down and some scrumpdilious shell fish. They were a great hit, Thanks Crabs, Timmy, ATC, 2 dogs and Gramma. The circle was huge and we all tried really hard to keep it clean, No Blow suggested using the word "down" in place of other non-mentionable 4 letter words but I am not sure if we all did so. It is a good thing Bobblehead and Must Turd were having too much fun getting dirty to pay us any attention. The only down side was we ran out of bug spray and they don't call it Mosquito Lagoon for nothing, but they should change the name to "No seeum" lagoon. The no seeums were awful. Finally it was time to paddle back for munches at the park, A couple of guys had a real hard time getting their canoe to float properly and ended up in the drink 4 or 6 times, I really lost count. Hope they gave the car keys and cell phones to some dry and partially sober hasher to hold for them or they are bumming. The park food was really great, salads and fruits and pies, and chips and grilled meats abounded. We all ate our fill and then it was time to go home till next year. We had a great time and looking forward to doing it all again soon.
