Was it because the Red Dress Run was Saturday night that caused the small turn out? There were 10 hounds, 2 hares and a couple who opted for romance rather than a hash. Waaayy, I hope Nickel gave you a good show! Keep the shiny side up and come back soon!

Shit for Brains laid a trail of checks, count backs, shiggy, sand and lots of water. But the most impressive thing was the perfect timing of the train. We've never had a "train back" before. After much trailing and circle jerking we found our way to the BC which could have been the BN but a vote determined that we should go on, so we did - right in water that was over everyone's head (head? who said head). Just John dove right in, the rest of us walked around, and around and eventually found the hare. Then we waited for the beer truck, driven by co-hare Hola, which was also carrying ice.

We of the kinder, gentler hash weren't accustomed to the "sit bare ass on ice" tradition. Shit for Brains impressed us with sitting on it through the circle. Cock Star took a turn, I think it helped her ankle. Just John drank out of a dog bowl, Semey wore his cat piss shoes, and FeFu changed into his kilt. PPP had her beast as did Bloody, we sang them the appropriate "the old brown dog went shit on the lawn" song and Shorty acted out the "walking down Canal St" song with Nookie. We circled, sang, drank, sang, drank, called Ginger and left a Happy Birthday message, sang and drank some more.....until we "hats off, pots on the ground" and went to Hooligans.

Much thanks to the hares, it was a great trail and I hope it will be relaid on a Wednesday night that is chock full of hashers.
