DBH3 is an OVER 21 Club!

This note may sound like common sense, but some people need to read it and think on it.

Though we love having new faces at DBH3 events, we cannot condone under-aged drinking or violence. If there is even a slight question about one's age, a valid license must be presented. "What if I leave mine at home?" you ask. In that case, you can consume all the water, chips, and other provided food you wish. However, you will be not be permitted to consume our alcohol. "What if I am under-aged, but bring my own alcohol or get hammered before I show up?" Do not do this. We do not wish to be near under-aged drinkers. Cops will only assume you got it from us. Stay home and away from us if you must drink and are not 21.

We have all probably consumed alcohol prior to the legal age limit. However, if we provide alcohol to minors, we can end up in jail, especially if one gets in a traffic altercation after a hash. I do not wish to go jail again. It sucked. Thus, Got Crabs and a few other hashers with gray hairs have volunteered to be the ID militia. We do not mind young people participating in trails and/or circle. We do have a problem with under-aged drinking and the problems that may arise due to it. This even includes kids with perfect behavior, good attitudes, and fake IDs that have already acquired hash names. This includes kids who are over 18 and serve in the military or serve alcohol at Hooters. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS . . . PERIOD!

We may also get in trouble if one is of legal age, consumes alcohol, and gets in a traffic altercation. Thus, if a group of friends say, "Wait here and sober up," or, "Why don't you let one of us drive you home while other follow," or, "We're borrowing your car keys to keep the innocent people on the roads safe," then listen to them. Semen in the Rain, Baaack That Sheep Up, and Versache Crotchy felt I may be a bit over the limit a few weeks back. I was confident I could get to Gators Dockside, but I was wise enough to let Semen drive. After a great meal, lots of water, and a few hours, I was good to go. I appreciate that they cared enough to make sure I didn't end up with a DUI. Please be as cool to someone trying to help you.

Also, we do not condone violence at the hash for any reason. If we have a problem with a visitor, there are public servants who can remove them. Do not put yourself in a position that may get you jail time. Again, jail sucks.

Thanks for your understanding in these matters.
